We currently offer a program bundle of modules consisting of: POCUS Basics, Cardiac POCUS, and Lung and Pleura POCUS. We are working to develop more modules.

The total cost of the program is $250. Trainees, residents, and medical students can use the coupon code RESIDENT at checkout to receive $150 off.

These costs support the maintenance of this program and will enable us to develop more content.

Included in the cost is access to the content and lessons of the three modules (POCUS Basics, Cardiac POCUS, and Lung and Pleura POCUS). The cost also includes certification and credits that can be applied to satisfy continuing education requirements.

Yes, this program has been accredited for 8 hours of Section 3 credits by the continuing professional development (CPD) office at Queen's University. To learn more about the certification click here.

You may enrol in individual modules instead of all three if you choose. However, at this time we are only offering certifications and credits to those who have completed all three courses. Completing one module does not satisfy the requirements of the program and you will not receive partial credits.

It will take approximately 2-3 weeks after you complete the course to receive your certificates to the email you provide. We will work to get these to you in a timely manner.

We will send you the certificate as a PDF to the email you have provided.

The completion of this course provides learners with the basics of cardiac and lung POCUS. To extend your knowledge there are many resources available to learn more about POCUS.

The POCUS Journal is a peer-reviewed publication that contains the latest research, case reports, and protocols on POCUS. POCUS Journal supports the open access of educational resources to support clinician, trainees, and researchers with their point-of-care ultrasound practice, whether it’s learning new skills, or refreshing old ones.
