Learning Objectives
- Acquire the following basic carotid POCUS views
- Common carotid artery short axis view
- Bifurcation – internal and external carotid artery short axis view
- Common carotid artery long axis view
- Bulb and bifurcation long axis view
- Internal and external carotid artery long axis view
- Identify the gross anatomy within each POCUS view
- Utilize proper transducer (probe) preparation, technique, and hygiene
- Identify and score carotid plaque
